Sorry this is in the wrong category but i wanted it to be read.
I have never had any problems with Win XP Pro until now but this is pissing me off.Whenever i turn on now, at the welcome screen it comes up with an error message:
'iernonce.dll
the filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect'.
I can just click the 'ok' box and it goes away but it is really annoying.
I was trying to copy some cds this evening and the pc kept crashing when it got to 6% writing, and ever since i gave up on that, whenever i boot it gives me that error message.
Can anyone help?I know that that message is a fairly generic one for windows but it is really annoying anyway because nothing happened to cause it.

no matter how hard you try, you can't polish a turd. :]

Do a restore and roll your system back to before you had the problem.
