problem w/ window links

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.general (More info?)

whenever i click on a link in a window the original window closes and leaves
just the window that i linked to. i tried right clicking and opening in a new
window but that doesnt work either.

In IE: Tools | Internet Options | Advanced. Uncheck: Reuse windows for
launching shortcuts.
