Computer Speakers

I am i market for new computer speakers. My main use is gaming. I bought logitech s220 because they were on and i loved them and now i want a new one for another system and s220 is no longer available.
I am a total noob when it comes to speakers . Can any one recomend me what speakers to choose. I have a budget of $40.
Also when buying speaker what should i look for in a speaker.
