In terms of gaming the ASUS model is better because GTX 260M is better than a GTS 360M

Maziar is right--the graphics are better on the Asus.

However I am certain you can find an i5/i7 and good graphics together on a different model. What is your price range and where are you purchasing?

It's funny cause at this exact moment I'm debating between the same two laptops. Looking into both, I've noticed one has a better GPU and the other a better processor. Price nearly similar. and generally the same stats. I've decided to go for the:

ASUS. Simply for the better graphics card and more Ram. I'm looking specifically into gaming on my next computer. So Graphics were primary.

I'm not a computer genius or anything, so my word might not be best.

The Toshiba is definitely sexy and wicked big (bad for some people, but I like big). but less ram and less powerful gpu turned me away between these two. yeah it'd be nice to have a more powerful processor but I don't think it's so much more powerful that you're gonna notice a huge difference.

ALSO! i dunno if you are purchasing one of these from Bestbuy which is where I'm getting mine but I'd make a decision fast because the ASUS you are interested in, might be available somewhere else, but is being discontinued from bestbuy within the next few weeks!!! According to the Associate I talked to anyway!
