I have a 2500+ CPU and a Soyo dragon mobo that will only support 133mhz FSB. My question is, until I get a new board, would it be OK to overclock the poo poo out of it up to 166 and higher?

You need a mobo that supports 166 MHz FSB, at least KT333. You may use it with older mobo by overclocking. But then you always have risk of frying your AGP/PCI cards and HDD.

I think the dragon might have pci agp speed locking.. check if so the frying your agp/pci cards is not an issue...

To err is human... to really screw things up you need a computer!
