hi,
I have acer aspire 9302wsmi with 512*2 mb memory.
I considaring upgrading my memory.
1. will it increse significantly the computer performce?
2. should I buy 2*1 gb and replace my old memory,or but one stick of 2 gb and add it to the old 512 stick?

First find out what the memory cap for your system is. You may not be able to add more than 1 or 2 GB. If you can try to keep all memory sticks the same type, amount and speed. Also, 512 is really not going to add much to a 2 GB config. If you're unsure about any of this, take your laptop to where you are going to get the memory and they should (no charge) happily determine what your system will handle and go from there.
