A big public thanks to Tim Maleck. A couple of weeks ago I posted
asking for a low cost source for MC14514B decoders to fix my Stern LDA-
100 board on my Flight 2000.

Tim replied within about 10 minutes that he'd mail one off to me ASAP -
no cost. When the package arrived - he included two - for good measure!

Thanks a bunch - the chip was just what the doctor ordered. For the
first time in the rehabilitation process, I've now got 100% lamp
functionality on a non-acid eaten board.

-Mark.

I agree.

Tims a great guy, a good friend in the pin hobby.
Always have a good time talking shop with him and playing pinball with
him at Houston Expo and Super Auctions.

Man....if I could only afford his Meteor.

At this rate, you'll be able to feel the pressure to buy again again at
TPF....

Thanks for the kind words....

Well.. maybe not TPF (that's a long way from MN).. but now that my F2K
is about 95% complete its drydock in the restoration lab-of-doom will be
empty.

Hmm.. need another project pin in the MN area.. :)
