If you had a time machine and went back to 1997. You might have a
chance!!!
$3500.00 will buy you (if your lucky) a beat to hell RIWL machine
(Route Its Whole Life). Several years ago, I tried going down this
road. I found a route game in PA and called the vending company. They
said they would sell it to me for $3700.00. Having a HUO MM already
that I had paid $4200.00 I declined. I was entertaining the idea of
restoring this machine and selling the HUO for a lot more than what I
had paid.

yeah, there is one at the bavarian inn hotel in frankenmuth. its the
worst one i have ever seen (played). im sure its never been cleaned. no
gi lights, flippers cant hit the ball up the ramps, rt slingshot kicker
stuck on & sticking out of the rubber. on and on.
one like that should surely go less than 4 grand, but who knows. demand
keeps making them much higher than new in box price.
they will fall once everyone who's rich who wants one has it (and can
afford them at the rediculous prices they fetch).
imo, i can name many games that i enjoy playing better and are less
costly. to this day i still do not understand why they fetch so much.
monster bash, twilight zone, bsd are just a few i enjoy more than MM.
maybe im an odd ball thow.

Sure. Probably even less than that if
you take the time to really shop around.
There are still plenty of IJs, STtNG and
sainted Whitewaters for less than 1k, too.....
