Cable came with new monitor and I have no idea what its for...

Hey guys,

Just bought a new samsung 22" LED monitor and it came with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack cable... Any ideas for what its used for? :L I tried connecting it from the monitor to the back of my pc's sound card but that did nothing....ahhh well.

Any ideas of what I could use this cable for will be appreciated

Presumably this model has built in speakers -- the cable should connect to the output socket of your sound card (green coloured socket ?)

Go to Windows Control Panel, Sounds & Audio Devices and make sure the mixer setting for Master Volume and Waves are turned up and not muted
