HP 8150 duplex / simplex

Have inherited an HP 8150DN.

Want to print on 8.5x11 three hole punched paper.

When I print duplex the holes are where they belong (left edge).

When I print simplex the holes are on the right side.

Want the holes to always be on the left.

What am I over looking?

Probably how the printer handles the paper. You could try using regular paper and punching holes afterwards but I've a horrid feeling that wouldn't work either.
