Hi I just bought this Dell inspiron mini

it has a hdmi output and no vga output and I need to be able to connect the netbook to a projector but must/all projectors has vga inputs.

I tried converting from hdmi to dvi (24+5) and then from dvi to vga but it's not working, any solution please

Same problem for me too, I bought a HDMI to VGA cable and forums suggest that this is not enough and I need a converter also.

I need my dell net book with hdmi output to allow me to connect to a projector. Do I need a converter box?

If anyone has any cheap solutions it would be much appreciated.
