In XP Home, when my laptop go into hibernate mode and then comes out, it
comes up with a user account that I deleted. When I go to the users group in
control panel since It is no longer there I have no way of accessing it.
What can I do.

That is a new one, Rick. What is listed here:

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and then navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
