For some time now we are running a petition to show Brian Eddy that
there are many pinheads who want to see another design from his hand.
Maybe as a new Stern or a new Bally.

This is great having a a list of who would want him back but If this is
how Stern would pick their designers, I must say it's a pretty sad
method... popularity list. I say go by their past history, game
earnings compared to others in the same time period, ability to keep
cost of game under control, things like that. And throw this list in
at the tail end as a kicker....

....and as much I love AFM and MM, I could really pass on seeing another
FAN game. Seeing the pics of NASCAR just makes me hope that FANMAN has
not infected everyone at Stern

Soon the designers wont matter and they'll be replaced with an auto-fan
game generator.

auto-fancad? Time to stop recycling old designers, Let Brian go out on
top and not do a Lawlor. The industry needs NEW blood. if it weren't
for Keith what would we have had to talk about the last 5 years?

I used to play way too much Quake2 at work (man were those days nice).
But someone cooked up a random level generator that would just crank
out levels. we would have them generate on the server...sometimes you'd
get a really good one.

I'm really wanting to see what nord-man can do.

Oh hell yeah... Q2 CTF wasted 2 years of my life! Wonder how my
clan-mates are these days...

haha, i've thought about running my own server on line somewhere.

I still have all the maps and the tarzan action grappling hook mod.

I used to play UT all the time. Designed levels and everything.

If you really need a serv*r, let me know. I have space/hardware/pipe to
the internet.

Oh man, Q2 with the WMD mod. TONS of kick ass weapons, grapple, online
play. I used to kick ass at that game.

same here, hyper blaster and railgun were my favorites. Hyper blaster
had that great psycological edge since it made a ton of noise when it
spooled up and an attack like watering a rosebush. Just strafe all
over.

I would use the railgun as a melee weapon and got to the point where i
could pick people out of the air while running. In my new place i
definetely want to set up a few machines and a server for people to
play on.

I totaly kicked ass at that game. the grenade launcher i loved too.
especialy when people were fighting below you, chuck out a ton of
grenades and kill them both. Man everyone i worked with hated me

Kill the blue (quad) guy!

Unfortunately with the physics of UT i lost my edge. I never got the
hang of that game. I was good, but nowhere near as good as everyone
else.

Q2 was a much better player, IMHO.

Railgun was kickass when you could get that good. Picking people off
like you were on a clocktower...

At the moment it are mostly pinheads from Europe who sign the
list...any pinheads from the states who want to see Brian Eddy back in
pinball?!?
