Intel's site seems somewhat ambiguous. Are there P4s that run slower than 3GHz but still have HT and 800MHz FSB? TIA.

Yes. 2.4C, 2.6C and 2.8C.

What is the release-date for those processors? I've seen them on a Belgian online store, saying the 2.4C's will be in stock this thursday ... Also, they are already selling i865-solutions for quite a while ... Is this possible? If you want to check out for yourself, and think you can manage the Dutch: http://www.forcom.be.

I guess it depends on where one lives. In the US, where I live, 2.4C is available at Monarch Computer now. These lower speed 'C' variant P4s should be available for purchase worldwide soon if not already.

I ordered a P4 2.8ghz 800mhz FSB from Monarch on Friday. They said they had it in stock when I callled to check ... NewEgg and some others didn't have them listed that I could find. Also, I think KC Computers has it too ...
