Broken Nomad JB3...

first off, hello everyone, and any and all help that you offer would be appreciated.


Ok, a few days ago, my beloved Nomad Jukebox 3's headphone jack broke. upon trying to fix it, something else happened (I have no idea what) so that the unit does not power up anymore (it worked fine before trying to sotter the jack back on).

so the real question is this: I don't particularly care about saving the nomad itself (I'm going to get an Ipod soon), but I have 2000 some-odd songs that I would like to get off the drive. Is there anyway that I could maybe plug the drive into an older Jukebox model (one of the first-gen 6gb models, for instance) so I could transfer the songs off there? or is all hope lost?
