Hello,

I have just buyed a T3 a nice upgrade from my previus Palm IIIxe :),
but I was playing with the Phone Link Updater and I can't install it.
One thing that I don't know is if the Phone Link Updater is only to
update the bluetooth drivers or also the infrared.

I don't find any information about this so I should be something
simple?

Do I need Bluetooth in the computer?
Must the palm be in the cradle and with the bluetooth turn on?
Must I have the mobile phone with bluetooth?

It updates the drivers that the phone uses to communicate with the phone
using any method, cable, Irda or Bluetooth

Yes, if you want to utilize the benefits of Bluetooth, it takes two devices,
a computer, a phone keyboard etc. But nothing says it must be used. A good
guide for Bluetooth is at

Not at all

Once again, if you want to use Bluetooth features, you need a Bluetooth
equipped second device. I recommend it, great feature.

Thanks for the reply,

But is seem that you gave me the Phone Link update link and I meant
phone link updater, the one you gave is a update to the phone link and I
meant to update the phone drivers in the phone link, this updater is
included in the palm's CD in the directory software essencials, I try to
install it but it seems to hang.

that's why I'm confused, because it seems to be awaiting for something.

Thanks
