"Server Not Found"

Hi,

My Dell Dimension 2400 desktop much too frequently pops up with a window that says "Server Not Found". Any thing that I can do to prevent this? Thanks.

There are tons of applications that can come up with this message, when exactly do you get it? Are you connecting to a network share? When going to web sites?

No, I am not connected to a network. I do have a laptop connected to the same line with my desktop. It happens occasionally when I am going to a website.

Either the site you are connecting to has an issue, or your laptop went offline then. Need to check your network connections to make sure they are setup properly and are stable. Reboot the modem and router, that may help. If you are using a wireless connection, make sure you are not out of range.
