High Electricity Bill

Hello boys and girls

I want to ask a question about a problem that I have.
Namely, my problem is that since I bought a new MB, CPU and PSU, the electricity bill went sky-high.
Before I got those 3 parts, we were getting a bill of 600-700 MKD (That is around 15 USD) and after I got them, the bill went up to 2000 MKD (roughly 45 USD).

My question is... could a faulty PSU be the problem?

A list of parts that you had and then what you now have will help , like what was the previous psu watts and what is the new one?
It can't just be those new parts that made your bill triple are there any other changes that were made in your use of electricity ? Does your power company make an actual reading every month or do they alternate months. Like my power company will do a reading in Jan. and then in Feb. do an estimate and then March do a reading and then April do an estimate etc. etc..
The psu that you bought is it a certified for efficency with a certificaion of Bronze , Silver or Gold ?
