HP PAVILLION DV6

Hello,

My HP dv6 started freezing a week ago. After a few minutes or an hour of usage the cursor just would't move and all the keys will not function also. I attempted to reformat it but it just stops in after a few minutes or so. So when i turned it back again naturally i cannot access the windows anymore since it was deleted already the moment i started the reformatting. How can i continue doing the reformatting when the unit freezes during the installation of the OS? Please help me with this.

DV6 laptops are known to have issues like this, it's with the motherboard and the video chip. Need to replace the motherboard or get a new laptop. There is an outside chance the issue is with RAM or the hard-drive, but for this model, it's probably the motherboard.
