I have started having problems with windows xp running slow and acting wierd.
I noticed that my router is going nuts when I turn on my computer. I checled
and my windows firewall is turned off. I want to turn it back on but the
window is grayed out...

Also, try to run several spyware checks on your computer as well because if your computer is slowing down at startup, something is not right. Try and give a virus scan too. Just my advice to you. Thanks

I have no other third party firewall and when I went into services.msc it
says that the windows firewall is started but if I go into the firewall in
control panel it still says it's off and I can't turn it on.
