HP P1100 Photosmart - remove cover

I am trying to remove the cover of this photosmart printer so I can clean the excess ink out. I can't find a manual or instructions anywhere online. HELP! I have the cover disconnected except for one point which is right right side of the paper tray. I am stuck.

I figured it out. You have to remove the paper tray. There are two slots on the bottom that must be unhooked, then slid. Thanks anyway. Problem solved!

I also need to open my printer for cleaning and repair, and am at a lost where to start. I've been searching all day for schematics or diagrams showing what screws and tabs need to be tackled, and in what order. I'm afraid to break any tabs, so would appreciate some expert advice.
Could you please post the steps here for me and the rest of the troubleshooters?
