Need modem help w/ Dell installed Intel 537

I need Need help w/ my Intel(R) 537EP V9x DFV PCI Modem, can anyone help
w/ a init string to disable the V.92 and help throuhput?
Are there any quick tips to speed one up from default settings?
My old modems in two other systems had solid 49333kbps connections w/
great throughput. This Dell came with this modem and I'm not finding
anything to tweak it up from a dismall 38-40kbps with terrible throughput.
I was told s32=128 was one way to disable the V.90 but I see no
improvement in throuput or speed.
