Upgrading from 906US to a R3000Z?

Office Max has the R3000Z for $399.99 after rebates.

It comes with a DVD drive. My 906US has a DVD/CD-RW combo unit.

Can I take the combo DVD-CD/RW from the 906US and put it in place of
the DVD unit in my new R3000Z.

Correction - Office Depot has the R3000Z for $399.99
