16gb (2 49) gb di ram utilizzabile

Hi all Ive the same error i have 16gb of ram but pc recognize only 2.49 on windows 7 32 bit..... an d when i instal windows 7 64 bit it recognize onle 3.49 gb of ram who can help me???? my proccessor is AMD FX 8120 motherboard 970A g46

32-bit address space is hard limited to 4GB. Not all of it will be useable due to address reservations for the motherboard resources and shared video memory for integrated video. 2.49GB usable is about right. If 64-bit Windows isn't recognizing all of your RAM then you may have mismatched or the wrong RAM for your motherboard.
