What temp does CPU throttling happen?

Hello I was wondering I just bought a Intel 2.4C processor and was wondering what temperatur CPU throttling occurs?

As far as I've heard, around 72C. But it should be noted that the throttling mechanism is controlled by a different temperature diode that's placed in the hottest part of the processor. It's different than the temperature reported by the processor's conventional thermal diode.
