How does one actually overclock their system? I'm buying a lot of new stuff to make a computer and I want to knwo if there is any way I can do it so I can see if I can make it better than what it will be when I put it together.

Overclocking is a long story, I suggest you google around for some overclocking guides and the knowledge base. There is another specific "Overclock" forum on THGC too, go check it out.
