Game wont load on all in one gateway pc

When attempting to download a slot game to my gateway all in one pc the program goes as far as putting an icon on my screensaver and then Windows window pops up and says there is a problem and cannot finish. This is a gateway zx66971. Can I install an external video card and will this help?

Most all-in-one PC are made with laptop components and there for you can't use dedicated GPU's. I tried to google your model number but came up with no searches.

Have you installed the latest DirectX runtime? Even though Windows 7 comes with DirectX 11 any game that needs DirectX 9 to run will need the runtime installed and it does not come with it by default.
