Desktop for GAMING 95% usage ??

Hello,-have $1,000-$1500 for PC buy to use on Strategy war games like future Total wars, Combat Mission etc. games.. No Modding,editing ,videoing etc.(not Tech savvy senior citizen) Just me vs. the AI . Head spinning reading about graphic cards ,bandwith,CPU, Etc. THANKS. Jim
