DVI and HDMI are practically the same, except HDMI has audio onboard. If you need audio, use HDMI, else, it doesn't matter. You should choose either over VGA, which has limited bandwidth and can give you connection troubles with signal quality. Neither HDMI nor DVI suffer from these drawbacks, being digital signals.
