My canon mf5550 multifunction printer will not be recognized

Hello,
Just upgraded to windows vista home and now my canon mf5550 multifunction printer will not be recognized. No canon drivers available. Anyway to get around this?

I would email Canon -- but I'm afraid if this is older equipment, support for Vista may be thin. Might be better to go to (or back to) XP which has much wider driver support or to Win 7 which is reportedly better than Vista.
