I connect the printer with a USB to Parallel printer cable and all i get is the paper advance to the top of page, then the printer just prints one lne over and over again untll I turn the printer off and dump the print queue. Is there a driver that I need for work the USB ste ue

Usually all you have to do is run the install disc and on it is the driver for the OS that you have.I don't have an install disk as te drivers are resident in Windows 7. I have used the adice from HP website but no good.Is there a seprate USB Driver somwhere for this printer. I'm nerous about driver web siteas as you get more than you bargained for.
