Computer thinks my Athlon 2000 is a 1.25 ghz

The past week I noticed my computer was kind of sluggish. Checked system profile in the control panel and it thinks my athlon 2000 is a 1.25 ghz. Also checked on bios startup page and it says 1.25 ghz. I put in a new hard drive recently but that is the only significant change I have made to my system recently. Temperature has never been an issue for me, computer always runs cool. Here is my basic info:

Althon XP 2000+
512mb DDR
Epox 8K5A2 Motherboard

Can provide any other info if needed. Any help greatly appreciated..thanx.

Go into the bios and make sure your fsb is 133.

My calculator says the last guy is correct, your bus speed is set at 100MHz instead of the correct 133MHz.

Updated the bios and it works fine now. Should have thought of it in the first place but its late here ;(
