AMD ATHLON XP 3000 "Barton" 333 FSB PROCESSOR CPU- OEM
Specifications:
CPU: 2.16 GHz
Type: XP 3000 Barton Core
Cache: 512K L2, 128K L1, Total 640KB
BUS: 333MHz
Socket A

endyen

Splendid
While most nforce 2 boards support all xp chips, many require a bios update. As you did not give a complete name for your board, I can not say if MSI has the necasary update for you. MSI uses a number as well as a name for thier boards (like ms-6777) Do you know the number?

the model number is ms-6570. I thought AMD latest processor (barton core) is 130 mm while socket A support only 180 mm. too confusing.

Socket A supports both .18u (Thunderbird and Palomino) and .13u (TBred and Barton).

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
