I am going to order a new system tonight. I AM an overclocker. I need to do this on sort of a budget also, as long as I stay within $1000 I am ok. The stats are:

Radeon 9700 Pro with RAM sinks

SLK-900 with adjustable Enermax 9.2cm fan

Looks good to me. Don't know about case first time I've seen it. 2.4c will OC real nice. What are you using for Ram? I know your not buying from ebay.

Sorry for not posting RAM. I am using Corsair XMS PC3200 6-2-2-2 1t Twinx. Only the best none of that cheapass stuff most people sell on ebay.

the fastest i was able to get that cpu stable was at 2.88ghz. i think the fsb speed was to high. you might want to go with a faster model with a higher multiplier.

How long before you buy? Corsair Pc 3500 is do for price drop. Don't know when that will happen thou. I'm waiting till the end of this month to buy. P4 2.4c has gone from $220 to $185 in the past two weeks at New Egg.
