Failed Scanner

Hi all,
I have a canon lde100 scanner. Have installed the software and driver but cannot use it as a sc reen message states "driver not installed". Have been to the Canon website and downloaded & installed thedriver but with same result. Am slowly being driven insane - any ideas?

If all else fails have a look at Vuescan or Silverfast third party scanner software.

Free trial may point to where fault is, if any.

Thanks for that veteran - willo give it a go, got to be cheaper than the purchase of a new scanner!
