No sound card? You're using onboard?

I was just going to use the line out into my reciever and use my reciever and speakers since i already have them. Will the onboard sound be good enough?

Are you planning to run Dolby Digital off your computer? Cause you might want something like the Audigy by Soundblaster in order to take advantage of Dolby Digital. Onboard usually dosen't have digital audio out. Also, usually onboard sound is not very good unless you go with nVidia on board.

I agree that 2.8c nad 9700 would be a better combo...Im using my onborad sound card on my P4b533 (soon to be replaced by P4P800) and i think its quite good to play games and mp3's...

Looks like one heck of a good puter. I would have gone with Corsair Pc 3500. Also 17" Monitor at the lest not 15.

I already went over my budget so that was all I could afford. Plus, I already have a 19" crt at home.
