Hi!

I bought a new computer from an online store here in Sweden, but they gave me the wrong CPU. I ordered a 2.8ghz 533fsb,
but got the 2.8 ghz 800fsb.
I am wondering if it will work with the MainBoard that I ordered. The MainBoard is an Intel Desktop Board D850EMV2. On the box it says for 400 and 533fsb and I also have rambus 1066mhz.

Does the CPU work with this MainBoard?
If not, what is best to return? The MainBoard or the CPU?
And if I keep the CPU, what MainBoard and Rambus works with the CPU 2.8ghz 800fsb?

I'd be thankful for any answer.
In hope of reply...

Return the CPU. In order to use that CPU you would have to return both the mainboard and RAM and move to a completely different settup, like the 865PE or 875P chipset and DDR400 (PC3200).
