32 bit or 64 bit for gaming?

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post. I currently have a 32 bit OS and 4GB Ram, the OS only reads 3.1GB. I read in some websites that 64 bit is not good because there is very few programs that support it.

  1. 64-bit architecture is rapidly growing, and you are best to switch to it. Almost all 32-bit applications are compatible with x64 systems.
  2. Hi,

If you have windows xp stick with it because xp 64 bit has a lot of bugs.

But win 7 64 bit is fine
