Hello,
I have a fujitsu celsius (2011 model), which a friend set up for me a couple weeks ago, partitioning hd into c and e drive (for data/systems). I use carbonite as a back up programme, and as previous computer had only c drive, have not been able to reload all of my files. I tried using recovery disk last night, so I can remove partition, but it didn't enable me to do so, and files/programmes remain loaded.

How can I take the computer (using windows 7) back to factory settings so that I can remove the partition, and let carbonite do its thing?

Many thanks!!

Have you tried going into disk management to rtemove the added partition ?

Computer >Manage > Disk Management and where it shows the e partition you should be able to remove it when you right clock on it and select delete partition.

As far as factory settings go you are talking about formating the drive and reloading Windows ? If not then you might want to use the system restore option under the control panel and help.
