I have Windows XP Service Pack 2 for the past year with no problems. Two days
ago the system, out of the blue, the computer started to re-boot continously
,getting to where you have to put in your password to get to your user screen
and then re-boot. I went into the save mode and the sytem repaired itself.
Now, the system does not go any further then the Windows screen where the
blue scroll bars keeps on scrolling at the bottom, not going any further. I
can go into the save mode, however.
Does anyone have some advice? Thanks!

Reads like you've got a driver hanging up, usually caused by the last
thing you installed/updated or even an auto update.

You need to block that driver from loading, uninstalling the offending
device or whatever.

Do you have a virus checker and/or spyware checker installed?
