how can I connect or associate processes names with progra..

TaskMaster shows that I have 51 processes running (or resident) on my PC
after I boot up. How can I associate these .exe names with program names I
might recognize. Twenty-two are of SYSTEM origin. (I would tend to leave
those alone?) Twenty-seven are associated with my username. a mere smattering
of others are tagged to user name "local" and "network" (2 each).
"explorer.exe" I recognize and iexplorer.exe I figure is associated with
internet explorer. But khcmd.exe and mcagent.exe and mmtask.exe??? how many
of these do I need? How do I turn them off? qttask.exe would be with
QuickTime players. Kodak favorite movie player. I need it when I need it,
which is not all the time. Why would I want it TSR?

I have found that a simple Google of the exe names gets you a lot of info about the related
programs. Give it a try !
