Why is m.s.e. taking so long to scan on my computer

whenever i do a quci scan it takes an hour, and a long scan took 4 hours to do on my computer. how can i make scan faster, or should i use alternative prgrams

Scan time will depend on the number of files you have. If it's a big drive with a large number of files, it will take time.

You can configure it to ignore certain folders if you wish.
