What is it with these machines? While looking for a bargin, I keep coming across 100's of these systems in different forms, why are there so many presario's? Are they good quality? Is there anything bad about them?

Well, you should try to be specific: there are about 200 different Presario models, as are there a great many Armada models.

Take BMW for instance: you have your 3, 5, 7 Series (different Ranges), within the 3 Series, you have a 318, 320, 320d, 323, 325, 328, 330, 330d, M3. All different models of the series: it is the same with notebooks. Presarios are very sturdy, well built notebooks - I have never been let down by one.

I was just commenting on how many Campaq computers there are out there, compared to how many Sony, Dell, etc...
I just wondered why, thanks for your remarks on the quality of Compaqs in general.
