Can I play a blue ray dvd on my MAC OSX

Do you have a Blueray drive?

go up to your menu bar>click on the apple>about this mac>more info>under the Hardware heading on the left hand side look under Serial-ATA. If you see something that says blueray then you have a blue ray player. More than likely you do not...

The OP would surely know if he had a BlueRay drive. Apple don't supply them, so it would have to be an aftermarket add on. Another one of Steve Job's little vendettas.
