Firefox and Windows Issues

I was wondering about two issues i have.

1. Firefox always opens links from Google searches into a new tab, rather that me right clicking and selecting "open in new tab"

and

2. When i drag any windows, all i get is a strange black outline rather than moving the window itself.

To check issue 2 i typed "systemPropertiesperformance" in run and made sure "show window contents while dragging" was check but it still has the same issue.

Any ideas?

Just pulling at straws here... But do u have the latest version of java installed?

I'm leaning towards it being a windows issue and not a browser issue

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Yes i have the latest version of java installed as i had to mess around quite a bit with it to get it to play nice with minecraft, i was actually trying to find the 64bit Java that would remove the "64bit java recommended" message from minecrafts graphics settings screen.
