Operating system cant see hard drive???

hard drive is seen in bios, but when i try to put operating system on. it is not seen and i have driver, but it will not load any suggestions? imperial laptop and i have already flashed bios thanks

What OS are you trying to install?

i have tried xp, vista, and windows 7 with vista and 7 it lets me attempt to load the driver but it doesnt load

You need to go to hardware manger and make the drive an active drive and label a drive letter path

You shouldn't need a driver for 7 and Vista, and you don't need one on occasion for XP. Is your hard disk, SATA? What happens if you skip entering a driver?
