i bought the barton today 2500+ 
, well wasen't exactly what i expected the sandra burn in was eqwivilent to a 2200+ at default speed. i tried installing my vantec copperx and for some reason it woulden't work still haven't figured it out, wasted $5 dollars worth of artic server 3. the cpu itself seems to be very compaticle with my gigabye 7vax-a motherboared. i ended up using the stock fan which stays at around 45 degrees. it paired up with my 9500 pro and kingston ram seemed to do ok in games. i guess i am nieve but i expected a huge jump in performance but the extra l2 don't seem to make much different
but on the otherhand my friend has stablised his at 3200+ eqwivilent at 55c or so not bad. I say this cpu only worth it for overclocking it sucks at stock speeds.
