How to connect client pc to windows server 2008

iam trying to create one domine in vm ware.i am install one server os 2008 and windows 7 client os.in 2008 installed adds.but in client pc can't support connect to network.
please tell me the process what im dug now at client side

You need win7 pro or ultimate on the client to join a domain.

What version of Windows 7 have you installed in the VM? - Pro/Enterprise or Ultimate are required to join a domain.

Have you made sure that both VMs are on the same virtual network?

What is the client using for DNS?
