I got a new mobile phone today. I didn't realize how advanced they seem to have become. It can arguably do more than my first computer. It takes better pictures and video than my webcam that I have now! It has a nicer screen than my digital camera.

It's one hell of a toy and I have no clue how to use it.

I wanted something that could work anywhere in the world so I got a quad band phone and every goody known to man came with it.

I just got Verizon $49 for 1200 minutes primary phone, and 4 other phones for $10 month with shared minutes, {total $90 monthly for 5 phones on a 1 year contract.) Verizon to Verizon talk time is not counted towards shared minutes, and nights and weekends are free also.
I got 4 Samsung A670 flip camera phones with voice dial $118 (w/one year contract), plus buy one get three free, also one free Nokia phone.

Incredible service, plan and prices today, indeed.

My oldest Son sells for Verizon... He's putting us on that plan & we're getting rid of the phone here at the house.. There's no need for a land line any more....

I have considered getting rid of land line, but fear it would hurt my business not being listed in book.
If not for home based biz, I would cut land line too.
I dis-like BellSouth....

Heh-heh, every time BellSouth has one of their little town halls, those are the top two items of discussion. Verizon and people abandoning land lines. They can't stand either.
