Keybaord Shortcuts Not Working

I use keyboard shortcuts a lot in Word (Shift + Del for Cut, Shift + Ins for
Paste, Ctrl + arrow keys to move around etc.) Unfortunately they have
recently stopped working, and I don't know why.

I am using XP on a home (non-networked) PC, and downloaded SP2 several
months ago. I do NOT have Sticky Keys enabled.

Any suggestions?

Borrow, or buy a keyboard. Plug it in and see if the problem goes away. If
so, throw out the old keyboard and keep the new one plugged in.
